Decorate a console or dining table with this colorful antique majolica jardinière. Created in France, circa 1880, and round in shape, the faience cache pot is dressed with side foliage form handles and features exquisitely rendered hand painted decorative motifs all around, including birds, butterflies, leaves, and flowers. The colorful planter is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns rich colors in a yellow, green and red palette. A great addition to a plant lovers home, green house, or outdoor area. Markings on the underfoot for further authentication. Measures: 14″ W x 11″ D x 9.25″ H.
