19th Century French Painted Ceramic Vanity Mirror with Cherub and Eagle Figures

Decorate a counter with this elegant free standing ceramic table mirror. Crafted in France, circa 1860, the colorful mirror features a eagle figure at the pediment sited over a woman face medallion, and flanked by two cherubs on the sides decorated with foliage. The bottom features another centre medallion adorned with leaf decor. The ceramic frame is hand painted with floral motifs in the blue, orange and green palette. The faience mirror has the original oval shape bevelled mercury glass and a wood backing with retractable stand and hanging capacity. The mirror is in excellent condition with rich patinated colors.
