19th Century French Patinated Spelter Rooster Sculpture Signed Ch. Ruchot

Crafted, circa 1890, the metal piece depicts an expressive, crowing bird standing on a rounded base. The textured animal figure is in excellent condition and has a rich, old patinated and aged finish. This chicken sculpture would make a nice addition to a table, enfilade or kitchen counter.
