19th Century French Polished Copper and Wrought Iron “Poissonniere” Fish Kettle
$650
About
This long antique, rectangular “Poissonniere” (or fish pot) was crafted in France, circa 1860. Made of copper with a large forged iron handle attached with rivets, this country kitchen essential could still be used for fish cooking. The pot kettle is in excellent condition, and adorns a rich, patinated polished finish. This sturdy, versatile, traditional piece could also be used as a decorative flower jardinière center piece, or simply displayed on top of kitchen cabinets. Measures: 24″ W x 7.5″ D x 5″ H.
