19th Century Italian Baroque Carved Walnut and Wrought Iron Trestle Dining Table
Entertain in style with this monumental 13 feet antique dining room table! Crafted in southwest Italy, circa 1860, and built in walnut, the large trestle table stands on hand carved scroll supports ending with paw feet, and joined at the legs with a twisted and forged iron stretcher connecting to the top. The thick and long table surface is built with two planks of walnut; the edges are further embellished with decorative carved molding around the frame. From the structure to the finish, the important Baroque style farm table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a stylish, rich walnut patina with exquisite natural distress. Over 155″ long, the farm table would sit 12 to 16 people comfortably. A true and exceptional one of a kind! Measures: 158″ W x 44.25″ D x 31.5″ H.
