This charming antique alabaster sculpture lamp was created in Italy circa 1890. Signed on the back by R. Colivicchi, the composition depicts a beautiful scene with a young woman feeding a goat. With intricate details throughout, the carved sculpture is accompanied by a tawny marble plinth that complements it perfectly. The heavy table lamp is newly wired with a central brass stem, making it a wonderful addition to a side table, console or buffet. The neoclassical style fixture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a wonderful two-tone patinated finish. Shade not included. Weight is 36 pounds.
