19th Century Louis Philippe Carved Two-Tone Blackened and Gilt Wall Mirror
This elegant, antique wall mirror was crafted in France, circa 1880. The mirror is decorated at the pediment with a large cartouche vase in the center flanked with carved floral and leaf motifs on both sides. The two-tone gilt and blackened frame, dressed with the original mercury glass, is decorated with repousse scrolled motifs throughout, and embellished with decorative beads around the glass. The versatile mirror is in excellent condition and would make a colorful addition in a bedroom, entryway, or powder room. Hooks in the back for further installation.
