19th Century Louis Philippe Carved Walnut Round Tilt-Top Gueridon Table
$1,200
About
This antique fruit wood pedestal table was crafted in France, circa 1880. Standing on three scroll feet decorated with acanthus leaf motifs over a carved turned stem, the gueridon is dressed with a round tilt top surface built with one piece of walnut, and embellished with ogee edge around the periphery; the table features its original locking mechanism. The versatile side table is in excellent condition, and adorns a rich walnut patina, and could be used as a martini table in a den or living room, or a small wine tasting table in a cellar. Measures: 19.75″ diameter 28.5″ height.
