19th Century Louis Philippe Giltwood and Blackened Mirror with Engraved Decor
This elegant antique two-tone gold leaf and black lacquered mirror was crafted in France, circa 1860. The large frame is decorated with engraved stripe motif, and is further embellished with beads and gilt all around. The wall hanging piece is in excellent condition with its original mercury glass, wood backing, and features the original water gilt patinated finish. This mirror would make an impressive statement hung over a mantel, a chest, or in a powder room. New wire has been installed for easy handling and installation.
