This elegant antique table was created in Provence, France, circa 1890. The fruitwood cabinet stands on cabriole legs decorated with acanthus leaf motifs at the shoulder, over a scalloped apron embellished with shell and floral decor. The table features a two-tier plateau with pierced sides and back in between, and has a hidden drawer on one side. The surface is decorated with raised scalloped edges around the perimeter top. The Provincial bedside table in in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina; a wonderful addition as a side table or nightstand. Measures: 18.75″W x 12″D x 28″H.
