19th Century Louis XVI Carved Painted Console with Faux Marble Top
This elegant antique console tables was created in France, circa 1880. The long grey painted table stand on six carved and tapered legs over a carved apron embellished with floral medallions on each corner. The console has two drawers across the front, a bottom shelf for additional display, and the surface with recessed edge decor, has a faux marble top in the grey and white palette. The tall and narrow console table is in excellent condition with a rich textured and patinated hand painted finish, the versatile piece could be place in an entry way, a hallway, or behind a sofa.
