Dated MDCCXXXVIII, or 1738, and printed in Paris during the reign of King Louis XV, these important leather bound books with gilt tooling called “Oeuvres de M. Claude Henrys Conseiller du Roi”, depict numerous legal questions and observations related to the throne of France. The set of four Louis XV books are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a beautiful and rich patinated leather finish. Measures: 10.75″ W x 16″ H.
