Bring a retro, yet practical touch to any entry or dressing area with this elegant, carved coat stand. The useful hat rack was crafted in France, circa 1920 in the style of German-Austrian cabinet maker, Michael Thonet (1796-1871). The hall tree features a top with eight double hooks and could be used as a dual hat and coat hanger. The coat rack has a wide sturdy base; it stands on four double scrolled legs further dressed with a ring to hold umbrellas upright. The halltree is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich light walnut patina throughout. Measures: 27.5″ W x 27.5″ D x 76.5″ H.
