Bring a retro, yet practical touch to any entry or dressing area with this elegant, carved coat stand. Crafted in France, circa 1920 in the style of German-Austrian cabinet maker, Michael Thonet (1796-1871), the hall tree stands on four double scrolled legs further dressed with a circular ring to hold umbrellas upright. It features two rows of eight hooks, so it could be used as a dual hat and coat rack. It is further dressed with a decorative finial at the pediment. The coat rack is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich walnut patina throughout. Measures: 29″ W x 29″ D x 78″ H.
