The tall free standing bentwood hall tree was crafted in France, circa 1930, after the German-Austrian cabinet maker, Michael Thonet (1796-1871). The tall stand sits on four wide curved double legs with bottom stretcher; it features two rows of eight hooks for hats and coats, and is further embellished with a carved finial at the pediment.
