Early 20th Century French Blown Glass and Repousse Pewter Wine Carafe Decanter
Serve your favorite Bordeaux with style in this elegant antique decanter. Crafted in France circa 1920, the carafe stands on a round silver base over the blown glass, and dressed with a silvered pewter coat decorated with repousse acanthus leaf motifs, from the mid-body to the top of the neck; it is further embellished with the original pewter and cork stopper. The wine decanter is in excellent condition with a rich patinated finish. Engraved stamp on the bottom: “Les Etains Manor, Paris, France”. Measures: 3.5″ W x 3.5″ D x 10.25″ H.
