This antique “Billot de Boucher”, or butcher block was crafted in Northern France, circa 1920. The piece stands on four tapered legs over a carved apron embellished with a center drawer dressed with the original bronze pull. The table top made of mixed woods including maple and beech wood, features a carving station surface shaped from generations of use, decorated with decorative metal brackets at each corner. The butcher table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich light walnut patina.
