Early 20th Century French Carved Bleached Oak Marquetry Trestle Dining Table
This elegant and large antique dining room table was crafted in France, circa 1920. Standing on a trestle base with two carved scrolled pedestal legs decorated with foliage motifs and connected with a pierced cross stretcher, the Louis XIII style table is dressed with a thick rectangular top decorated with parquetry motifs in the center, and embellished with a small band of lighter color. The wide Baroque table is in excellent condition, and adorns a rich bleached patinated finish; a wonderful breakfast or dining table sitting eight to ten people.
