Early 20th Century French Directoire Bronze and Marble Guéridon with Eagle Heads
This gilt bronze guéridon table was created in France circa 1920, round in shape and supported by three slender cabriole legs finished with hoof feet, the table features a circular black marble at the top and a smaller marble lower shelf. The marble top is adorned with classical eagle head decors and the legs are connected by an ornate stretcher at the base embellished with a center rosette medallion. With its beautifully contrasting colors and graceful lines, the heavy bronze Directoire guéridon will bring a stylish touch to any decor, whether placed in a traditional, transitional or modern setting. The table is in excellent condition with a rich patinated gilt bronze finish. Measures: 29″ diameter 29″ height.
