Crafted in Rouen, France circa 1920, the large ceramic planter is rectangular in shape with all four bombe sides; it has elegant side handles, a scalloped rim around the top, and is embellished with carved decorative shell and leaf decor in each corner. The detailed, ornate flower pot features hand painted floral decor medallions on both sides with accompanying foliage. The faience centerpiece is in excellent condition with rich colors in a blue, yellow, red and green palette. Decorate a mantel or a dining room with this large and colorful antique jardinière. Marking on the bottom. Measures: 18.5″ W x 6″ D x 9.5″ H.
