About
This planter would bring French elegance to any room of the house. This feminine, antique ceramic cachepot was crafted in Normandy, France, circa 1920. The classic, colorful jardinière features hand-painted floral decor in a traditional blue, orange, white and yellow palette. The stately faience cache pot form has an elegant, sculptural silhouette; the cone shaped vase has a wide, decorative lip with scalloped edges, two curved handles on the sides, and is in excellent condition with rich colors and embellishments. Marking on the bottom: “Vieux Rouen Fait Main” for further authentication. Measures: 12.5″ W (handle to handle) x 10″ D (front to back) x 9″ H.
