Early 20th Century French Hand Painted Faience Vase Signed Henriot Quimper
This antique ceramic vase was created in Brittany, circa 1920. Round in shape, the faience piece has side handles and features colorful hand painted decor. The painted elements include a Breton man dressed in traditional, historically accurate clothing. The flower pot is further embellished with floral decor in a blue, red and yellow palette. The large vase is in excellent condition and is signed on the bottom Henriot Quimper France.
Founded in Quimper in 1690, the HB-Henriot Manufacture has always innovated and worked with artists since this date.
