Add a pop of color to your office or study with this elegant antique desk armchair. Crafted in Provence France circa 1920, the walnut chair stands on cabriole legs decorated with carved floral motifs at the shoulder, and ending with escargot feet, over a scalloped apron embellished with carved foliage. The Provencal chair dressed with a cushioned rouge leather upholstery, features a tall and pitched back decorated with hand carved floral motifs at the pediment. The wide and deep cushioned seat including open armrests are also upholstered with red leather embellished with fine gilt tooling. The colorful Louis XV style desk chair is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina. Measures: 26.5″ W x 26.5″ D x 39.25″ H.
