Early 20th Century French Louis XV Marquetry Rosewood Cabinet with Marble Top
Decorate a living room or bedroom with this elegant antique cabinet. Crafted in Paris, France circa 1920, the fruit wood chest stands on cabriole legs ending with bronze sabots. The cabinet with marquetry and parquetry motifs, features a large drawer across the front over a pair of doors with inside storage and dressed with a center shelf. The cabinet is embellished with intricate bronze pulls and matching escutcheons, and bronze mounts in the corners. The top is dressed with a white marble set inside a raised pierced bronze dore gallery around the perimeter. The chest is in excellent condition and adorns a rich French polished finish. The chest could also be placed in a powder room to store nick-knacks, soap or toilet paper. Key included.
