Early 20th Century French Signed Blue and White Painted Porcelain Umbrella Stand
Place this tall, elegant stand at your front door or in your mudroom to catch loose canes and umbrellas. Crafted in France, circa 1920, the circular porcelain umbrella holder sits on a round base and features colorful hand painted pastoral scenes with people on carriage; it is further embellished with top and bottom decorative floral bands in the style of Delft. The round piece is in excellent condition with rich and well maintained colors in the blue and white palette. Signed on the front by the artist, O. Ecrelman. Measures: 8.75″ diameter 22.5″ height.
