Decorate a garden, a lodge or a ranch with this lovely antique horse sculpture. Carved in France circa 1920 and once prominently displayed on the grounds of a chateau in Normandy, the outdoor sculpture is set on an integral rectangular base. The large elegant equestrian figure is shown standing on its hind legs (also known as a rearing). The garden statuary features wonderful detailed carvings especially through the mane and face. The heavy sculpture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich and beautiful weathered patinated finish with evidence of outdoor use and age. A lovely addition and wonderful conversation piece for any backyard! Weighs 196 pounds. Measures: 33″W x 11″D x 39.5″H.
