French Louis XV Marble Top Walnut Marquetry and Inlay Bombe Chest of Drawers
Crafted in France circa 1980, the vintage commode stands on cabriole legs ending with bronze mounts feet, over a scalloped apron decorated with a bronze shell and leaf motif mount. The fruit wood chest features two bombe drawers across the front embellished with inlaid floral motifs, and dressed with the original bronze handles and escutcheons. Both serpentine sides also with marquetry decor, are embellished with ormolu acanthus leaves mounts at the shoulder. The surface is dressed with the original shaped variegated beige marble top. The elegant Louis XV cabinet is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patinated French polish finish. Measures: 40″ W x 18.25″ D x 34″ H.
