About
This imposing antique painted “buffet deux-corps” was carved in Provence, France, circa 1760. The entire Louis XIV style cabinet features two sections, a top and a bottom section for easier handling. Painted inside with a reddish/pink color, the top part features a center double doors with no middle divider, (a perfect host to a 65 flat screen TV!) and two smaller doors on either side with plenty of shelving (in the old days, these tall side doors were used to keep guns)! The bottom section has two center doors with middle shelf for additional storage space. This cabinet provides a nice clean look with a fine bonnet movement. Overall, the piece is in excellent condition with a richly painted patinated finish. Beautiful iron hardware. Measure: 97″ W x 21″ D x 97″ H. SKU: 121-73
