Late 17th Century French Louis XIV Brass Cauldron with Fleur de Lys and Crest
This period antique cauldron with original removable lid was created during the reign of King Louis XIV circa 1690, crafted of brass, the round dish features repousse decor of Fleur de Lys and the coat of arms of the kingdom of France flanked by lions. It is embellished with a middle handle over the floral decorated lid. The kitchen accessory is in excellent condition with a rich patinated finish. Measures: 11.5″ diameter 10″ height.
