This antique stone planter was crafted in Normandy, France, circa 1750 was found in a chateau around Versailles. Round in shape with flare rim and ribbed and gadrooned body, the heavy vase stands on an integral square base with cut corners. The planter is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original weathered patinated finish with evidence of outdoor us; it would make a beautiful garden greenery pot. Charming old visible repairs. Weight 107 pounds. Measures: 15″ diameter 18″ height.
