Mid 19th Century English Carved Oak Gate Leg Drop-Leaf Oval Table
$3,900
About
Crafted in England from solid oak circa 1850, the drop-leaf table stands on turned legs embellished with a decorative stretcher at the bottom. The table has four extra legs that unfold, and two large drop leaves come up to make an elegant oval top when fully opened. The large Pembroke eight-leg dining table is in excellent condition with a rich dark walnut patina and would easily sit six to ten people. The versatile and functional gate leg table could also be used as a console table behind a sofa.
Measures: 55″ W x 21.5″ D (closed) 67″ W x 55″ W (opened).
