Carved in Normandy France circa 1860 and built in six separate sections, the outdoor bench stands on dual carved baluster-form bases over a rectangular seat decorated with incised trim border and a decorative scalloped backing with two curved and scrolled armrests. The heavy and sturdy seating is in excellent condition commensurate with age, and adorns a rich weathered and patinated finish with evidence of outside use.
