Mid-19th Century French Copper and Brass Jelly Bowl from Normandy
Keep your wine or beer chilled in style with this large elegant round bowl. Crafted in Northern France circa 1850 and originally used for homemade jelly, the circular “Bassine a Confiture” (or jelly bowl) is dressed with side brass handles attached with rivets over a rounded rim. The antique dish is in excellent condition with a rich patinated and polished brass finish inside and out. This decorative bowl is both a beautiful and practical way to keep your favorite drinks cool; it could also be used as a punch bowl, used for food, or simply display on top of kitchen cabinets.
