Mid-19th Century French Louis Philippe Carved Silvered Mirror with Foliage Decor
Crafted in the Burgundy region of France, circa 1860, the large antique mirror has traditional, timeless lines with rounded corners. The rectangular frame is decorated with a luxurious silver leaf finish over a discrete engraved two-tone foliage motif. The classic wall piece is in excellent condition with the original mercury glass and wood backing, and adorns a beautiful rich and bright patinated silvered finish. New hooks has been installed on the back for easy handling and installation. This tall Louis Philippe mirror could be added to a number of rooms in your home for a traditional French style, including over a mantel, in an entry, or in a powder room flanked with a pair of sconces.
