Mid-19th Century French Louis Philippe Gilt Wood Mirror with Engraved Decor

Crafted in the Burgundy region of France, circa 1860, the large, rectangular Louis Philippe mirror has traditional lines with rounded corners; the frame is decorated with a luxurious gold leaf finish and a discrete engraved floral and geometric decor; it is further embellished with decorative beads around the frame. The timeless wall piece is in excellent condition; it has the original mercury glass, a sturdy wood parquet backing, and a rich and bright patinated gilt finish.
