Mid-19th Century French Louis XV Carved Walnut and Silk Adjustable Piano Stool
This carved antique fruitwood stool was created in Provence, France circa 1860. Standing on cabriole legs decorated with floral motifs at the shoulders over a scalloped apron, the square seating is upholstered with a floral yellow silk fabric embellished with decorative brass nail heads. The adjustable seat features a latch releasing the mechanism up and down, and extending the height up to 4 additional inches. The stool is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina and colorful upholstery. Measures: 14.75″W x 14.75″D x 18.75″H.
