Mid-20th Century French Cherry Side Table with Marble Top and Brass Rim
Crafted in France circa 1960 and made of cherrywood, the oval table sits on four cabriole legs over a lower tear. The table features detailed marquetry work around the apron, and is further embellished with a frieze drawer at one end. The luxurious variegated beige marble top is set inside an intricate pierced gallery rim around the perimeter. The delicate oval end table is outfitted with a bottom shelf decorated with a diamond shape inlay motif. The gueridon is in excellent condition and has a rich walnut patina throughout. Use this elegant, antique fruit wood table as an occasional side table in a formal living room.
