Decorate a master bathroom counter with this miniature chest of drawers. Crafted in France circa, 1960, the petite fruitwood “Commode de Maitrise” stands on four cabriole legs under a scalloped apron. The model chest features two carved drawers across the front decorated with inlay veneer marquetry and geometric work; each drawer is further embellished with decorative handles and mount. Both sides are also decorated with marquetry and geometric design. The small antique cabinet is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina. This mini, decorative chest could be used to hold your valuables on a vanity, or placed on a shelf for decoration. Measures: 12.5″ W x 6.5″ D x 9.75″ H.
