About
Crafted in France circa 1950, the oblong, ceramic cache pot sits on scroll dolphin feet under a shaped apron. The shallow, detailed planter is dressed with elegant snake side handles over a bombe and scalloped rim; the piece is embellished with traditional Delft-like hand painted medallions landscapes with the traditional sailboat, windmill and church decor. The detailed, ornate flower pot is further embellished with floral and foliage motifs on both sides and on the inside dish. The faience centerpiece is in excellent condition and adorns rich colors in a soft blue and white palette. Decorate a mantel or a dining room with this large and colorful antique jardinière. Marking on the underfoot for further authentication. Measures: 20″ W x 9″ D x 7″ H.
