Mid Century French Louis XV Carved Cherry Two-Door Jelly Cabinet from Provence

About
This antique fruit wood buffet was crafted in Southern France, circa 1960; the confiturier (French for jelly cabinet), sits on escargot feet over a scalloped apron; it features a large center drawer with recessed panel over two carved doors revealing inside shelving. Both drawer and doors are dressed with iron hardware including hinges, handle and matching escutcheons. The cabinet is in excellent condition with rich wild cherry patina; it could be used as a vanity in a powder room with inside sink. Key included.
