This large antique oval charger was crafted in Italy, circa 1960. The large ceramic wall hanging plate depicts a neoclassical outdoor scene with a young beauty and two cherubs at her side. The border in high relief is further embellished with floral and sailboat medallions in the traditional Delft decor. The platter is hand painted in the classic blue and white Delft palette. The decorative majolica wall decor is in excellent condition with soft pastel colors; a must for any blue and white lover! Hook in the back for easy installation. Measures: 22″W x 17″H.
