Crafted in Provence, France, circa 1970, the tall vintage fruitwood bench stands on six cabriole legs ending with scrolled feet over a double curved X stretcher at the base. Each leg is further embellished with hand carved acanthus leaf at the shoulder. The scalloped apron is decorated with a carved shell flanked with foliage motifs. The seat is upholstered with a rouge tufted Hermes leather. The elegant antique bench is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina. Place this versatile bench at the foot of a bed, against a wall in a hallway, or use it for extra seating in a den or study. Measures: 41″ w x 16.5″ d x 24″ h.
