Complete your bedroom with this elegant pair of antique hand painted bedside cabinets. Crafted in France, circa 1880, each commode stands on tapered and fluted legs over a straight apron decorated with geometric motif. Each chest features three drawers across the front dressed with decorative brass pulls over matching escutcheons; the top drawer is further embellished with geometric motifs. Both sides are decorated with recessed panels and rounded spline columns in the corners decorated with carved foliage embellishments. The surface is shaped with round corners. The traditional Louis XVI style nightstands are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich textured patinated finish in the light grey and white palette. 2 Keys included.
