These charming antique candlesticks putti carvings were crafted in Italy, circa 1780. The hand carved figures depict two winged cupids resting on a knee and holding a candle torch; each sculpture features its original polychrome and gold leaf finish for a luxurious result. The carved cherubs are expressive in their movement and feature wonderful facial expressions. The religious cherub ornaments are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn the original patinated polychromed finish.
