Pair of 19th Century French Brass Gilded Repousse Pic-Cierges Candleholders

These brass candlesticks were found in a private chapel near Lyon, France. Crafted circa 1860, each pricket sits on small curved feet with three sides embellished by repousse decor. Both tall candleholders have three religious medallions with God, the Lord and the Virgin Mary. They are in excellent condition with a richly patinated gilt finish throughout. These candlesticks would make an impressive, dramatic addition to an enfilade or dining table. Measures: 9″ W x 9″ D x 29.5″ H.
