Decorate a mantel or a console with this elegant pair of antique cassolettes. Crafted in France, circa 1890, these urns stand on square marble bases with recessed corners. Each vessel built of marble is dressed with a dome shaped lid embellished with a pine cone form finial at the top. The body, dressed with two horned goats is decorated with floral and leaf swag motifs, and the bottom features acanthus leaves. The tall vases with variegated dark green and grey colors, are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich patinated gilt finish . 7.5″W x 5.5″D x 18″H.
