Decorate a mantel or a console table with this exquisite pair of Black Forest deer carvings. Created in France, circa 1860, and hand carved of walnut, each work composition depicts a buck standing in front of a tree trunk with hanging leaves coming down. The detailed work is phenomenal and both four-pointer deer are dressed with a nice rack on their head. The sculptures are in excellent condition, and adorn a rich walnut patina. A wonderful addition for a ranch house or hunting lodge. They could also be converted into wonderful table lamps. 8″ Diameter 15″ H
