Decorate a master bedroom or guest room with this true pair of antique nightstands, one opening to the right, the other to the left! Crafted in France, circa 1870, each cabinet built of Birdseye maple, stands on turned bun feet over a plinth base; each traditional piece with clean lines, features a single drawer dressed with a decorative brass handle, over a cabinet door flanked by fluted and turned side supports, and also embellished with a brass knob; the cabinet opens to middle interior shelving for ultimate storage. The surface is dressed with an inset two-tone grey marble top. The tall Louis Philippe bedside tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich light walnut patina. Minor scratches on one marble top. Measures: 21.5″ W x 15.25″ D x 36.25″ H.
