Pair of 19th Century French Louis XIV Carved Oak Pedestal Tables
These elegant antique pedestals were crafted in Normandy, northern France, circa 1870. Standing on a wide square plinth base, each tall oak column has a long tapered and turned stem and features a square swivel top surface decorated with carved edges; it could accommodate a bust, a large vase, or any decorative porcelain “Piece de Forme”. The pedestals are in excellent condition with a rich dark walnut patina.
