This elegant pair of antique armchairs was created in France, circa 1880. The large fauteuils with tall and straight back, stand on tapered and fluted front legs decorated with square medallions at the shoulders over a bombe apron and back legs. The elegant armrests dressed with padded fabric, are embellished with small carved fluted columns on both sides and topped with a round floral medallion. The comfortable and deep seat have a plush down seat cushions. Both chairs are upholstered with a neutral blue-white canvas fabric, making them an easy addition to any room. The Restauration style armchairs are in excellent condition and painted in soft white and gray rubbed patinated antique finish. Measures: 29.5″ W x 31″ D x 39″ H.
